Description
Petunia (Petunia hybrida) is a plant widely-cultivated for ornamental use. There are a wide range of colours, size and shape petunia flowers. Currently the petunia is plant model in the flavonoid biosynthesis studies (1, 2, 3, 4). Another researches involving Petunia hybrida are floral development (5, 6, 7), transgene effects (8, 9), epigenetics (10, 11, 12), self-incompatibility (13, 14) and genetic maps (15).
